Living life again ... sort of

Boy oh boy, what a week we had in our house. The cooties came right on in (completely uninvited I might add) and attacked with full force. I was out of commission pretty much from Sunday night of the week before last until Friday'ish ... that's way too long for me. I went to the doctor on Wednesday when I couldn't stand the chest pain from breathing anymore & he said I had a sinus infection. Who knew? I never had one of those before. He gave me a prescription for some cough syrup with Vicodin in it ... wowee ... that stuff was something else. I was up the ENTIRE night with hallucinations. My skin was tingly, I couldn't find my heartbeat & my feet went missing for quite some time. Needless to say that was the one & only time I took it.

So I was out Monday, Tuesday & then on Wednesday Calob decided to join me. Then on Thursday it was time for me, Calob AND Terence to all be home sick. Callie asked if she should stay home to take care of us (awww) but I assured her that she was better off at school. Heck, once she got on the bus we all went to separate rooms to sleep & the house was totally quiet. Weird. On Friday everyone was well enough (whatever) to return to "business as normal" until I got a call from the school that Callie had a fever & needed to be picked up.

Needless to say it's been a very long, cootie-filled week for us. We're all on the mend finally but I think it'll be some time still until we're all back to normal (whatever that means).
