Priceless!

On Saturday, while the men were running the Ragnar Relay, Sharon & I took our kids to lunch at the bakery & then we decided to check out a few shops downtown. We wandered into a new art studio. While there, the owner started talking to the kids & the next thing we knew, the kids were painting! We figured that maybe they'd paint for just a minute & then the owner would take over ... nope, didn't happen. He let them do the entire painting! They had SO much fun & it's even up for sale in the studio. The list price is $90 ... any takers? I didn't have my camera with me that day so I took the kids back today to get their picture with the painting ... go ahead & try to tell me you aren't impressed! :}

This is the kids posing with the painting ... the one on the floor, not the horse one. :)
This is what the artist sketched out as to what the painting should look like ... he did this before we came in, as he was going to do the painting himself
This is the finished project ... $90 anyone?!?

Wow! That's cool that it's still up ~ I will have to take the kids back to get their pics done too!! Now we just have to find a buyer! Katie's still convinced that it's going to sell.

How neat, and I actually like the painting! If it hasn't sold by the time I get there, I want to go by and see it in person.

Wow! Maybe your kids will be famous...or infamous artists! Fun.

How cool is that! What a chance of a lifetime experience! And I can say that I knew them way back when... hehehe

If I had an extra $90 laying around, I would totally buy it and give it to them as a gift. It would be up to you and T to figure out how they could "time share" it between all of the artists! HA!

How cool is that! What a great place that must have been to invite the kids to paint!
