Blood Sisters

Today was a BIG day ... blood donation day. I have donated many times before but it was Jerrie's very first time (insert clapping here)!!! She did very well although she was a tad (ahem, HUGELY) nervous. She even finished before me (but that's just because my vein was gnarly)! HA ... and we discovered this great setting on Jerrie's camera where you can take 2 pictures separately and have them show up as 1 ... super fantastic huh? Well, here's our after pictures ... notice our cool colored arm wraps!!!

What good people you are! And Jerrie, I am with you on the fear thing. I HATE needles!

WOW! I am so stinkin' brave. Thanks for helping me try to conquer my fears, however I think the same thing will happen next time. Oh crap, did I just write "next time"? What was I thinking?

Ok...the picture on Jerrie's site makes so much more sense now! I did not notice the line (shuddup, I've not had sleep in 189 days or something) and thought your pose was a little odd, but whatever. Y'all were a pint low, so I was willing to overlook it.

That said, I'm still concerned about WRAPS! What did they use to remove the blood from your arms?!? Maybe wraps just haven't become fashionable in IL yet? I hope that's the case...
