Yesterday was the Regional Destination Imagination competition and for the first time, both Calob AND Callie participated. Calob is in the middle school division in the challenge "Hit or Myth" while Callie is in the elementary school division in the challege "Chorific!" ,which is improv. Both kids spent many months & lots of long hours preparing with their teams & had lots of fun at the competition. AND ... both kids are headed to state! Yep, you read that right. They both took first in their divisions & are headed to Wenatchee at the end of the month to compete with the best in our state. This is Calob's 3rd trip to state and it's Callie's first. She is especially happy because this is all brand new to her. It was a long day & I took lots of pictures ... here is a sampling.

How very exciting! Many kudos to Calob and Callie for bringing home the "gold" and getting to continue on to the state competition ....congratulations!!!!!
Congrats to BOTH of them! OMG...now I can say "I knew them way back when they first got their start..." LOL
