We went to the Pearl City mall & happened upon these fantastic Lego sculptures! They are totally unlike anything we had ever seen before. I took pictures of all the ones we saw ... hopefully we didn't miss any of them. Check out Nathan's site!

4th of July started with a manicure/pedicure for the girls. Denise took Callie, Katie & Emily with her to get pampered. They ♥'d it!!!
We spent the day at a beach house one of Gary's friends rents in July. It was right on the water (literally) ... a great way to spend the day!

We went to T's aunt & uncle's beachhouse on the 5th of July. Sharon & her family joined us and we all had a fabulous day.
This is how you got down to the beach ... by climbing a ladder. Needless to say, I did NOT go down to the beach! ha

We had heard that sea turtles come up on the beach and surprise, they did! I tell you, we were SO excited you'd think we had never seen wildlife before. Anyway, after all our excitement & pictures we found out the turtles were endangered & you aren't supposed to go near them or touch them ... OOPS! We'll remember that for next time!

That night we joined Sharon & her family in Waikiki to hang out & see the sites.

Monday night we met up with some of Terence's friends from high school & their families for a dinner at Gyotaku (pronounced "yo taco"). Oscar treated all of us & I think a good time was had by all (except maybe me ... the food was a bit too funky for me) ... ha!

These pictures was great....I feel Hawaii calling....I may have to break down & go there one of these days.
The sculpture pics are far out, the action shots of the boogie boarding are awesome, T is wearing the NASCAR shirt (!), the turtle & gecko pics are very interesting, that shaved ice place certainly looked yummy, and I love the beautiful sunset...good job Calob and to Cheryl too for all the other great pics.

Awesome pics! I started out with some comments to remember early on, but totally forgot what they were. Looks like y'all had a great time! I don't get the feeling of overwhelming hot from the pics though. LOL
Oh, and I just had to add - I see you have the same problem I've had for a while --- your son is taller than you.
