Tonight is a historic night. Not for me, not for you ... for EVERYONE! It doesn't matter if you are a Republican, Democrat or Independent ... this is HUGE for the U.S.A.! They say that a vote for Obama is a vote for change; well, I truly hope that is the case. My kids both got to see when it was announced that he is the President Elect and they were so excited. Calob understands so much more than Callie (obviously) but either way, they "get" the significance of the vote and Barack Obama being the first African American President ... ever!
I'm thrilled to witness such a historic event ... and proud. I will say that John McCain gave a fantastic concession speech. I think it was the best speech he's given since he started his campaign.

Congrats to President Elect Barack Obama ...
all things ARE possible!!!

I predicted this as soon as he threw his hat in the ring. I'm so excited and thrilled and can't wait to see what the next 4 years bring. I'm looking forward to the changes!
His speech was fantastic and brought me to tears (of pride) many times. My only wish is that his dear grandmother could have held on long enough to witness it, but I know she's watching over him.
I'm also glad the stupid political ads are OVER!
