Yesterday was another chess Saturday for Calob (and Terence). A boy, Paul, that Calob has played chess with and against for years needed a ride so he went along with Calob & Terence. Who knew he would be the one that Calob would have to play for the championship ... and ultimately lose too! I thought they should've had Paul walk home as punishment but he is such a nice kid, it's hard to fault him! lol They had a fun day though & Calob is happy (although not thrilled) with his 2nd place finish.

= = = = = = = = = =Callie was feeling VERY left out because there wasn't a picture of her foot next to mine. I figured it was easy enough to make her happy so here you go. I'm on the left, she's on the right. Today we bought her a shoe that was a women's size 6. She's 9. I wear a size 6 (or 5 1/2 or 6 1/2 depending on the style). My 9-year-old daughter wears the same size shoe as me. Looking at her foot overall, it looks shorter but her big toe is pretty long ... weird. Anyway, there's Callie's foot picture. :) Any other pictures I need to take?

Nice foot picture...My feet were as big as my mom's when I was 9 as well (now they are only one size bigger)...I stopped growing at 13 (tall), so it's all good. You know she is going to be taller than you right?
I think that Paul should have had to walk home since he had the audacity to beat Calob in the championship. Teach that boy a lesson! LOL Way to go on 2nd place though, Calob! That totally rocks!
