A Whole Lotta Nothing ...

We've had a pretty uneventful week which explains my NOT posting. I will try to do better about posting though ... even if I have nothing to say. That sounds promising huh? ☺ Callie stayed home sick today. Nothing serious, just a "barky" cough all weekend that is exhausting her. We're hoping she'll be back at school tomorrow. I think she's bored of being home.

Callie had a soccer game on Saturday. Her team lost 1-3 which was a bummer. I took a few pictures though.

This is her when her team got their 1 goal. Too bad she wasn't turned more towards me (maybe we'll work on that for the next game ... lol)
Determination on her face ... I love it!
Clearly concentrating on the game

Now that the kids have gotten older we have definitely stopped going to the pumpkin patch. I can't say I miss the actual ritual of it but I do miss the pictures. Here are 2 pictures from a trip back in 2001. Callie is 2 & Calob is 6 1/2. Aren' they adorable?!?!?

What's new with you?

So, there hasn't been a lot to blog about lately. I was SUPER busy last week with the D.I. garage sale we had on Friday/Saturday. We raised around $2,400. Yay! It's not nearly enough (it costs just over $1,000 to send 1 child to globals) but it's a start. The only thing I've taken any pictures of since I posted last was of our sidewalks. The city is redoing them because the trees growing between the sidewalk & the street were messing up the sidewalks. Fun stuff, huh?

Here's a really funny picture. This is my family & my sister's family when we went to visit them in San Diego before we moved to Ohio.
Spencer, Terence, Me (Calob in the snugli),
Ariel, Bill & Donna
What I love is that Spencer is almost 21, Calob is 13 1/2 and Ariel is 15 1/2 ... my how they grow!!!
Years ago we went to Pinaus Lake with our Canadian friends & celebrated the Canadian Thanksgiving with them. We stayed in this cabin. It was a LOT of work but we definitely had a great time!!!
