Sharon's Birthday ... Yippeeeee!!!

Today is Sharon's birthday ... she's just a smidge over 40. lol A lady never tells her age (or her friends age for that matter and we all know what a lady I am). he he he Anyway, Sharon, Julie & I met up in B'ham to do a little shopping, eat a little (or a lot) and see a movie. We ate at Red Robin's, shopped at Bellis Fair & saw "Bride Wars." The food was tasty, the shopping was full of bargains and the movie was cute. I definitely wouldn't give the movie a super high rating but it was fun & exactly what was called for as part of a birthday extravaganza. Jerrie was supposed to be with us but her in-laws were coming for the day so apparently she was there in spirit (was that the buzzing noise we kept hearing?)! Sharon, I hope your day was fun & full of lots of birthday love!!!

The Performances Continue ...

So, after our SUPER busy D.I. weekend we got home very late Saturday night & Callie had a performance the next morning at church. The 3-5 grade kids put on a musical called "Nic at Night." Callie had 2 solos, 1 singing & 1 dancing. She had lots of fun and they all put on a good show. Sharon's family was nice enough to join us and also Catyler (from Callie's D.I. team) and her family came as well.

On Tuesday, the 2nd & 3rd grade kids at school put on their spring concert. Callie had a few different solos (although they were mainly "speaking" solos) and she also performed with the Honor Choir & the Guitar Club. Another good performance by all the kids.

Jerrie's birthmonth celebration continued on Sunday. Sharon & I took her to Starbuck's for a drink, some goodies & of course, presents!

Here is what I had at Starbuck's. A caramel apple spice to drink & 1/3 each of a cinnamon streusel cake, lemon cake & banana cake ... SO GOOD!!! Jerrie reading her GREAT card!
