Another day, Another haircut

I've been planning to get my haircut again to donate it to "Locks of Love" but have been SO busy lately that I didn't know if I'd be able to get it done before we went to Tennessee for the Destination Imagination Global Finals. Luckily I had a chance today so Sharon & I headed out to get the deed done. Sharon had never gone with me before to donate my hair so it was fun and a nice little outing before our big trip. If YOU can grow hair, I seriously suggest you donate your hair too. This is my 4th time donating & even Callie has done it twice. I realize not everyone can grow their hair like me (one of my talents ... ha) but if you can, please do so!!!

My official before shot
Not the best behind shot ... my hair is really
curly so it's kind of hard to see the real
length of it with all the lovely frizz
This one, while my hair is wet, shows the length
much better than when it's dry
The first cut
14 inches
This is my favorite shot

It's Been a Boring Week Here ...

Wow, I didn't realize it had been a week since I last updated. I guess that shows what a boring week it has been in our house. I did take pictures this week though (like I could help myself). So here are some assorted pictures from the week.

I help at Callie's school on Tuesdays & on my way home I came across these 3 cats hanging out in the middle of the street & they didn't seem at all concerned that I was sitting there, in my van, waiting to get by. Funny cats.
This was Callie's eye on Saturday night (last week) ... we never found out for sure what it was but people have said it was a burst or broken blood vessel. It's still there but going away, slowly.
Just a cute shot of Callie at dinner on St. Patrick's Day.
Poor Calob, he had a choir concert on Thursday night & I think he had one of his worst allergy days EVER that day. He came home from school all puffy & red but he HAD to go to the concert regardless. He made it through (although he was coughing, sneezing & rubbing his eyes throughout) ... I don't know if you can see his eyes, he was EXHAUSTED!!!
Smiling ... after the sneeze of course

I know it's not a HUGE difference but we did a reddish mousse dye in her hair. It's supposed to wash out in 8-10 washes. She loves it ... that was our Friday night.
