Finally some pictures.
These are all from Gordon's camera.

All of the people pictured are from T's van, 6 people total.

Surprise, Surprise!

So, T made it home from the run yesterday in one piece ... but barely. He's got a new little walk going (ha) and is sore on other parts of his body but that's to be expected. The team didn't stay for the awards ceremony because it was about 4 hours after they finished the race and the site didn't update the results until this morning ... THEY WON THEIR DIVISION! They competed in the "Open Male" division even though there were 4 women on their team. They were expecting 2nd or 3rd but they won! Wow, we are all surprised but pleasantly so (of course).

I'll post pictures later. T didn't take a camera so we are waiting on them from Gordon & possibly some other people too.

Where in the world is T?!?

This is what T is doing right now!!! This is the first time this event has been held up here ... very exciting stuff! Hopefully I'll have pictures to post at a later date

Its really quite simple. Get a bunch of friend together (or we can help you find team members who'll quickly become your friends) and start running. Okay, there's a little more to it. Your relay team will consist of 12 members. During the relay, each team member runs three legs, each leg ranging between 3 - 8 miles and varying in difficulty. So, from the elite runner down to the novice jogger, its the perfect relay race for anyone.

Each team is responsible for providing two support vehicle, with six runners in each vehicle. The first vehicle will drop off the first runner, drive ahead a few miles, cheer the runner on, and provide them with water, snacks, and plenty of love. That vehicle will then drive ahead to the first exchange point to drop off the second runner, and pick up the first runner when that leg is complete. They will repeat this pattern for six legs until they hand off to their second vehicle. This leapfrogging pattern will continue all the way to the finish line.

Bunny Rabbit ... and the Cats

The bunny, that was missing for a couple of weeks, came back for a visit today. I think this is the closest he/she has been to our patio. Nalu was beside himself with joy & couldn't tear himself away from the window. Samson, on the other hand, was easily distracted, as you can tell!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Yep, Harry Potter mania is alive & well in our house.
We pre-ordered the book for Calob from www.amazon.com and because we chose the super saver shipping (yes, I'm cheap) we weren't expecting the book until
Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.
Imagine our surpise when the mail lady brought it to our door today ... Yippppeeee!!!!!!! I was shocked but happy for Calob ... he's been SO looking forward to this final book. He's sad too though, knowing that it's the final book. I definitely feel his pain. He is up in his room right now, totally engrossed ... ah, don't you just love a GREAT book?!?

Remember ...

REMEMBER, GROWING OLDER IS MANDATORY.
GROWING UP IS OPTIONAL.
We make a Living by what we get,
We make a Life by what we give.
God promises a safe landing,
not a calm passage.
If God brings you to it,
He will bring you through it.

Envirosax

I read about these bags in a magazine today (I don't remember each one) and I really like the idea of them a LOT! There are 3 different varities you can choose from. They cost $33 for each set of 5 bags. Each bag can hold 2 Target, Wal-Mart, grocery plastic bags worth which is great! I'm SO sick of having all those plastic bags & these bags are SO cute ... I'm totally sold. I'm just looking for others to order as well to split the shipping. It's $7.95 for shipping, no matter how much you buy ... anybody else interested?!?!? You can click on any of the pictures & be taken to that page on the site. Also, here's the address to be taken to the site's homepage
