Texas Finale

I think these are the rest of the pictures from our trip to Texas. There are 3 groups based on who took them. The first set is from Callie's camera (our old one) ... she had fun taking pics.

The amount of miles I drove ... oh my! 610 ... eek!
On our flight from San Antonio to Dallas there was the body of a fallen soldier on board. I noticed the escort before the flight (T was actually talking to him) and wondered if that was why he didn't have any baggage. The pilot and flight attendants both spoke about the honor they felt in transporting the body to it's final resting place. We were on the same plane, same seats, etc. for the flight from Dallas to Seattle so we were able to watch the proceedings out the windows. It was emotional to say the least.
That is the pilot helping to move the body

Fantastic photos. I love that Callie's pics are mostly of...ah...Callie!!

Wow. On the same plane? That is extreme.

Thanks for sharing.

Awesome cake! Why hasn't she been making them at home with her mother? Oh right. Probably the same reason my kids don't. The whole 'cooking' thing.

Ok, purse camera? Seriously? LMAO

One final thought that is highly inappropriate, but you should know better than to expect anything else from me... When reading the very touching story of the soldier, I noted that you indicated that "he" didn't have any baggage. Um, I had to read it twice to figure out you meant the ESCORT didn't have baggage. Sorry. I know, I know...I'm a dork.

I love all the TX pictures...good job! The fallen soldier pictures were so sad, and how interesting it was on your flight.
